Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How did you make this website?
A: I started with SadGrl's Layout Builder as a base, then went from there. Many elements on my website, including this page, are inspired by how NomNomNami has their webpage set up. They're great, so give both of them a follow. I'm no expert in CSS and study other people's work, as well as using Google to help me make certain things in CSS.
Q: Do you use social media?
A: Yes, I do! I use it for keeping in touch with online pals, and sharing what I do outside of this website. However, this website is the best way to keep in touch with everything I do these days!
Q: How can I support you and your works?
A: Great question! I'm active on Twitch 3 days a week (sometimes 4), and you can watch my streams or subscribe. I have a Ko-Fi page for any tips or donations. My VGen is where I take art commissions. You can also follow me on BlueSky!
Q: I don't have money - how else can I support you?
A: First, please don't be hard on yourself for not being able to support creators monetarily! It's okay, and we understand. Second, you can watch my streams and participate in chat, or lurk if you're shy. You can share my posts on BlueSky. You can leave nice comments on my posts. You can join my Discord server. There's plenty of ways to support a creator for free!
Q: I'm a minor. Why don't you want me following you or interacting with you?
A: I am in my 30s and have no interest interacting with individuals half my age, and my content isn't suitable for individuals under 18. This policy is in place for both your safety and mine. This is a very simple and easy boundary to respect, so I ask that you please respect my wishes. You're more than welcome to interact once you turn 18.
Q: Do you accept fanart of your VTuber and/or OCs?
A: Yes, that's totally fine! Just please portray them respectfully. My only firm boundary on this is that anything you make must 100% be made by you. AI-generated slop will be put into the incinerator where it belongs.
Q: If I draw your VTuber, what's something important I shouldn't forget?
A: Mavis's hair isn't brown- it's red! Close to crimson, but if you want to make it a little more red and/or saturated for visual reasons, that's okay too. The white stripe in Mavis's hair is on her right side- meaning we often see it on our left when looking at her.
Q: Can I create your VTuber in a video game with customizable characters?
A: I appreciate the offer and the intent, but no- I'm not super comfortable with this. Additionally, dollmakers, heroforged, etc. aren't something I'm super keen with either.
Q: Can I commission another artist to draw your characters as a gift?
A: While I appreciate the kind gesture, the answer is no. This is not something I'm comfortable with.
Q: Can I draw your VTuber/OCs with other characters?
A: Ask me first. You are always welcome to draw my VTuber with the Pokémon Clefairy, since it's my favorite. You can also draw my OCs hanging out together, since they interact in their stories anyways.
Q: What about fanfic or cosplay of your characters?
A: I don't feel comfortable with the idea of others writing my characters, so it's a no from me. As for cosplay, this is also a no; I'm just not comfortable with the idea.
Q: What about NSFW fan content?
A: This is a hard no unless I commission someone, or the artist is a friend of mine. Please don't make NSFW content of my creative works without my consent or permission. Just because I draw it myself doesn't mean it's okay for others to do- my art is for me to express myself safely and on my own terms.
Q: Can I make you a VTuber model?
A: This is very kind and sweet, but a VTuber model is a huge project and I don't feel comfortable accepting something like that for free. I'd rather pay a skilled human artist!
Q: What tools do you use to make your art?
A: I use Clip Studio Paint EX with an XP Pen Artist 15.6 Pro tablet! I also have an iPad Pro (12.9in) with an Apple Pencil, using Clip Studio on iOS.
Q: What brushes do you use when you draw?
A: I actually have my own brush set that I use most, but you can download plenty of other cool brushes from Clip Studio Assets! I also recommend NekoRina's Brush Sets - I've used the fancy brush pack and love the "Opacity Pencil" brush.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: Not often, but if you'd like to commission me, you can follow my VGen for updates and commission openings!
Q: Do you take requests or art trades?
A: No to both of these. Sorry, I work and don't have much free time!
Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: I've been drawing since I could pick up a drawing utensil. However, these days I prefer digital art over drawing on paper. Digital art is more accessible and works better for me!
Q: Can I post your art on my page (with credit)?
A: Please do not reupload my creative work on any platform, even with credit, unless you are a client sharing work you've commissioned from me. If you follow me on social media apps that allow you to use built-in reshares, doing that is fine and gives me visibility.
Q: How do you feel about AI-generated art?
A: I do not support generative AI. It's soulless and steals from hardworking creatives, and it can't even get hands right. How does that saying go? Count the fingers, count the teeth...
Q: How long have you been streaming?
A: I streamed full-time from January 2021 to May 2024. I now work a regular 9 to 5 job, and after being a freelancer for so long, I prefer the stability of a paycheck. I still love creating, though- so I do it in my free time.
Q: Are you sponsored/partnered with anyone?
A: Yes! I'm a Twitch Partner, so I have the shiny purple checkmark on that site. I am a proud partner of GamerSupps, Captain.TV, and Throne. I am an Aloe Bud Ambassador, as well as a member of several stream teams: The Four Directions, Eldenwood, and Team Technicolor. I am also part of the Twitch Latin Guild and Twitch Pride Guild, as well as the VTuber Creator Club.
Q: What streaming software do you use?
A: I use OBS Studio to broadcast my streams. Additional programs I use are BikuBot, StreamLabels, Spotify, and Mix It Up.
Q: How do I become a VTuber like you?
A: I plan on making a tutorial for VTubers in the future, but for now consider checking out this playlist for info! You can also watch this playlist for VStreamer tips.
Q: Are you available for stream collabs?
A: Yes! However, I want to get to know collab partners before streaming with them and will do offline gaming or hangout sessions to get a feel for our cooperative chemistry. If things go well, we can definitely move forward into livestreaming collabs!
